Metros fall with Ching's hand ball goal
The MetroStars were unable to hold on for any points, with 9 players missing due to injuries and international matches. A 3-1 loss would finish off the night in MLS, as none of the eastern teams came away with a win. Still in reach of 1st place, and several games at hand the MetroStars have a chance to pull back to 1st in the next few weeks.

The Galaxy put the Fires flame out
Carson, California- The Los Angeles Galaxy(6-3-3) earned another three points today when they played against the Chicago Fire(4-3-4). The Galaxy dominated most of the first half with a Andreas Herzog goal but there were still many left to come.

Columbus defeat Revs in sloppy match
FOXBORO, MA. - For the second time this year, the Revs lost to Columbus because of poor refereeing and poor decision making. Both teams had trouble judging their passes in the wet field conditions and constant drizzle as they played in front of a crowd of 7,047. The Revs, who played their 3rd game in 8 days lost 2-1. Both teams failed to score on some clear chances including a penalty kick in stoppage time of the second half that could have brought the Revs level.

Wizards pull off tricks to beat The Galaxy
Carson, California- The Los Angeles Galaxy(5-3-3) go through their third loss of the season against the Kansas City Wizards(4-4-2). The Galaxy were still playing without Carlos Ruiz but are expecting him to come back next week when the Galaxy go head to head against the Fire.

Metros get burned in 2-0 loss
After a late game effort to tie it at 1, the MetroStars find themselves in a 2-0 loss after a late goal from a Dallas counter attack. After amazing saves from Jonny Walker and friends, the Metros couldn't hold on for the full ninety minutes or come up with anything productive in front of goal.
