Metros winless in 5
After 5 games, with one loss and four ties, the Metros can't seem to pick up that one win to break the streak. It may be a goal, one goal is all thats needed to break that streak, but its that one goal that the Metros can't seem to get. The Metros capped off their 3rd tie in a row at Foxboro this evening.

It was a game that had all Revolution written on it during the first half. The Revolution got on the board early, with a great build up by the Revs. A deflected shot found its way to Pat Noonan who fell into the ball to get a foot to it, and find its way into the net.

The Revolution had all ball during the first half, but late in it the Metros had few chances, including a great run by Cornell Glen, but a save by Matt Reis kept the game tied. The Metros went into the half down by a goal.

After a team talk at the half, the Metros came out pressuring the Revs. Improvement showed as the Metros controlled early in the second half. All the Metros needed was that goal to tie it up. That was soon to come, as Mark Lisi's perfect pass would find Cornell Glen.

In the 55th minute Mark Lisi sent a nice pass through the Revolution defense, and ball found Glen who casually tapped it through the legs of Revs goalkeeper, after a quite celebration the Metros were back in the game.

The score would stay the same, as fighting attempts from both teams to get a shot on goal would fail. The closest to the game's third goal was Taylor Twellman's great run to set himself up one-on-one versus Jonny Walker. Walker made a world class kick save to keep the score level. The game would end at 1-1.
