Dallas Burn defeat Colorado in a dramatic 1-0 victory
|
The Dallas Burn defeat the Colorado Rapids in a 1-0 victory made by Foward, Eddie Johnson.
During the first half, Dallas showed afew errors on their Defensive side giving Colorado afew chances in which they did not capitalize on.
In the second half, Dallas suffered 2 suspensions in Simo Valakari and Brad Davis. This gave Colorado a 2 men advantage over the Burn. But with the 2 men advantage, Colorado still couldn't pull one over on Dallas. During stoppage time in the 91st minute, a Penalty would be commited in the area that was defended by Joe Cannon after a "shirt pull".
Eddie Johnson would send the "game winning" Penalty Kick to the left side of the Goal giving the Burn a dramatic 1-0 victory over the Colorado Rapids.
With this "last minute" victory, Dallas stands 3rd in the Western Conference with 23 points same as Colorado who now stands 4th. |
